dog training Services

We have a holistic approach to dog training and it is tailored to individual dogs. We use reward based training and prioritise your relationship with your dog.

Our aim is to give you and your dog the happiest life possible.

We look at living with your dog as a whole, including exercise, mental stimulation, diet and relationship.

private lessons

Initial consultation and private lessons are tailored to you and your dog. We will learn about you dog, lifestyle, diet and exercise and give you guidance for progression. We will also provide a report and training plan afterwards which you can follow. We offer ongoing support after the lesson.

We can help you to have the perfect setup for your puppy, show you the key elements of loose lead walking or anything you need support and help with. Private lesson is £100.

board and train

For more complex behaviour cases and for dogs who need more time and multiple areas to work on. The board and train programme is tailored to your dog after an initial consultation where we set the goals and talk through the plan going forward. We recommend 1 week for any obedience work and areas you can’t progress with without help. For more complex behavioural issues and multiple areas to work on we recommend at least 2 weeks of board and train to give the chance to progress and not rush the process. Every dog is unique and the plan will be provided based on individual needs. We don’t promise a quick fix or even a perfect fix at all. It takes everyone to see progress. Board and train price depends on individual dogs. Please enquire about this service via email.

£750-1500/week

Day-train

Day train is fabulous solution for dogs who need working on specific areas in their training. It is basically a board and train just without the sleepover. We recommend either booking a 2-3 weeks block or have regular 3-4 days/week for a month or two to be able to work on things, generalise them and also teach you as a handler how to enjoy your dog better. Day train prices start at £85/day. Please enquire about it in email.

Walk and train

Walk and train is a service for those who would like their dog’s training being upheld while walking with us.

The length of walk and train depends on the behaviour that needs addressing, with a minimum of 4 weeks of 2 - 3 sessions per week.

Walk and train could be for; appropriate socialisation with dogs, settling, recall, loose lead walking or engagement building.

Our walk and train service is £35 per session and we are out for at least an hour, pick up and drop off is included within 5 miles from our home. Please enquire about it via email.

Socialisation walk

Great opportunity for dogs who are a bit under confident/anxious or reactive. We are carefully selecting our pack of neutral dogs to help your dog.

We always go to different places depending on the dogs we have in the pack. Also a great option for those dogs who graduated from walk and train and would like to keep the training up.

All dogs who want to join our packwalks will start with our socialisation walks.

Socialisation walks are £22.50

Puppy socialisation walk

Early experiences are very important and we believe that surrounding your puppy with well natured and neutral dogs will give the best start in life. As a dog owner it is hard to do the best thing when there are so many conflicting advices online.
Let them play with all dogs?
Don’t let them say hi to any dogs?

We believe that there is a sweet middle ground for dogs when they learn and exist around others without wanting to play all the time. On our puppy socialisation walks the dogs are carefully selected for individual pups to be able to feel more confident and happy. We take them to different routes and environments to be able to get used to new places, smells and sounds. £25

train the owner

This service is primarily for the humans.

We will come on a usual walk with you and your dog and you can ask all the questions.

We’d observe the walk and give you practical advices on how to improve the areas you are struggling with.

We will give you advices regarding handling your own dog and dealing with others when out and about. We can go into details in specifics too if there’s an area you need more help with. Dog training is not only about the dogs, it is very much about the owners/handlers so we would like to help you to have a better relationship and experience with your dog(s).

A session of walk the owner usually takes a couple of hours, but its not time restricted. £100 per session.

Group classes

We run our group classes weekly.

Our classes focus on dog neutrality and obedience around other dogs. We create real life scenarios and learn real life skills with your dogs which will make walks easier and your relationship stronger with your dog.

We are a very inclusive bunch, everyone welcome regardless of training history. We are both there on hand if you need any guidance and individual troubleshooting.

Location varies and confirmed before class. Individual classes are bookable below. £21/class

virtual lessons

If you live too far from us to be able to do a personal 1 to 1 meeting, this could be a great option for you. We can go through everything online and discuss a plan going forward. Great way to book some follow up calls to have a chat about the progress you have made and to set new goals.

I can not give out advice online for aggression cases and behaviour modification. Virtual lessons are £65

our core-pack

It’s only fair if we introduce you to our most neutral dogs at Quality Chops. We trust these dogs to be the perfect role models to anyone joining us. All of them are well mannered, neutral and have lovely temperament. All dogs learn from them while spending time around. One of them (if not all) will always be part of a neutral packwalk or training session.

Ruby - Labradoodle

She is one of a kind! Very friendly and fair. She will play with playful dogs and mind her own business with the less interested ones. She has been coming to us for walks and daycare since she was 3 months old. She is our first go to introducing new dogs.

Niyah - Hungarian vizsla

Loves playing with other dogs and very good at communicating when they are being too much. She is happy to just coexist with others. She has been coming to us for walks, daycare and boarding.

Gatsby - Kangal x Akita

A gentle giant who will play with all dogs who want to play and just exist around them when they aren’t so interested. He is extremely foody and handler focused and a very easy boy to work with.

Marvin and Bobby - Hungarian vizslas

You can read more about the boys on our meet the team page. Stooge dogs for our classes and role models for many dogs in our care. Bobby is a working therapy dog.

Kaiser - Staffordshire bull terrier

Kaiser loves to play with sticks and occasionally join on a chase in the long grass. Very respectful of others, read social cues very well and a sweet natured boy. Kaiser started with us on walk and trains to perfect his recall and now one of our stooge dogs.

Baloo - Bernese Mountain dog

Baloo is the opposite of what he looks like. A gentle soul who is respectful of the others and would do anything for food. Baloo came to us reactive and turned into a stooge dog after training with us during walk and train sessions. He is the living proof that training doesn’t have to be for years and all dogs can overcome their difficulties.

We are continuously working on how we could help people and dogs and we have so many things in the plans. Our workshops are open to anyone interested in learning from others and widening their existing knowledge. Our upcoming workshops will be posted here
